Very interesting to visit London with the children, after some years of English in school.
But it's a very expensive capital! The communications are too expensive, the tube is far too expensive.
The prices of the hotels are really too high with respect to their standard. Have been there twice with the
children so now we'll have to wait for quite some time before returning. We appreciated the Dome last
November, but again, far too expensive. - ELA, Sweden
(For cheap accommodation use the Discount Hotels link on the home page. Links to the Dome and Tube)

Why does London cost so much? Great city but... - SA, Australia

Great fun! Oh, and thanks for the photos... my camera broke down! - JS, Scotland (Link to pictures on this site thumbnails)

Pigeons in Trafalgar Square suck! - MF, New York
(See the pigeons)

I think London is fantastic - TA, Olso, Norway

I love your capital city... but why are your trains always late? - JH, Toronto, Canada (Links to trains)

The Tower of London is a fantastic day out - AS, Norfolk (See the Tower)

We all enjoyed our holiday in your great city (visiting family), but I agree with everyone else. It is far too expensive.
I see you also have a Brighton website, we loved going there, too

A cool city! - PJG (Junior), Texas

Growing up my mother was a flight attendent for TWA. For 5 consecutive years, my immediate and extended
family got together and spent a week in the city of London.

Staying across from Kensington Palace (I forgot the name), I fell in love. There is so much history to feel
and learn. The museums (Madam Tussaud's, Imperial War Museum, London Dungeon, Etc.) The shopping at Harrods, eating at Tootsies.

Everyone is always friendly and I could sit and listen to the British Accent for hours. When the fire at
Windsor occurred back in '92 or'93, I felt I was watching a home I grew up in, go up in flames. I really took
it to heart.

My dream is to one day, take my husband to the place where I left my heart. I will probally leave my heart in
London as I did so many years ago, just to give me an excuse to return again. I am always looking for movies,
shows, or books on the history of your city. Thank you - K F

London is great, we've been there and we'll come back.
